Director Roles & Teams Overview

Sam - Executive Director

  • Organizational Oversight:
 * Broad insight into organizational goals and capacities.
 * Final decision-making authority.
 * Communication of key decisions.
 * Accountability enforcement for Directors and Strategists.
 * Delegation and empowerment of members.
  • Fundraising, Outreach, & Budget:
 * Manage community fundraising and donor outreach.
 * Establish partnerships across the progressive movement.
 * Collaborate with Public Media Director on streamer outreach and partnership.
 * Promote PV leaders to career and visibility opportunities.
 * Secure funding sources and manage PV's budget and legal entities.

Managing Director

  • Operations and Project Management:
 * Track program priorities and progress.
 * Organize and manage meetings.
 * Route and address internal inquiries. 

Jay - Public Media / Communications Director

  • Media Strategy:
 * Organize and strategize media events.
 * Build and maintain relationships with public figures.
 * Manage media inquiries and public attention.
  • Strategic Communications:
 * Ensure transparency and clarity in PV's strategies.
 * Manage crises in coordination with other leaders.
  • Team Oversight:
 * Lead Public Relations: Social media, public messaging, organizational updates, community presentations, messaging assistance.
 * Oversee Design Team: Branding, visual assets, team coordination.
 * Lead (Temporarily) A/V Team: Recording, video content production, A/V assets, project collaboration, A/V forum moderation.

Okami - Infrastructure Director

  • Infrastructure Management:
 * Programming: Maintain Discord bot, website, server entry, and wiki.
 * Wiki: Content creation and coordination.
 * Research & Data: Candidate and law research.
 * Moderation: Server moderation and vibe checking.

Cam - Engagement Director

  • Engagement & Organizing:
 * Lead Recruitment: Community outreach and project reviews.
 * Build relationships with other progressive organizations.
 * Support State Organizing with resources and training.
 * Collaborate with Fundraising Team on campaigns and partnerships.
 * Manage special engagement projects and event planning.
 * Represent PV on streams as needed.
 * Address miscellaneous responsibilities and gaps.

Kevin - State Organizing Director

  • State Organizing:
 * Develop strategies with Core Directors.
 * Formulate state organizing plans.
 * Support priority states and events.
 * Relay team concerns and facilitate inter-departmental communication.
 * Lead state organizing team meetings and attend coalition meetings.
 * Plan and provide state organizing resources and workshops.
