Welcome to Progressive Victory

Progressive Victory is a new and growing political community that uses online media to engage people and challenge traditional methods of political organizing.

We work with online content creators to bring new people into the political process and give them the tools they need to make their voices heard. We are committed to building a community of new-to-activism volunteers and empowering them to become lifelong activists.

Our unifying mission is to ensure progressive candidates are elected and progressive policies are implemented. We value unity above all and seek to connect progressives across the ideological spectrum with the common goal of creating a more just world.

The Progressive Victory Experience:

• When you join the PV Discord server, the first thing to do will be to choose a few Roles. These Roles open doors to different aspects of our community. You can always update your roles in the "Customize" tab of the "Channels and Roles" section
  • Selecting your state role will give you access to your state text channel. Here, you can connect with people near you
  • Selecting skills roles will grant you access to the relevant skill text channel
  • To keep up with PV and opportunities for activism, we recommend you stay tuned to the Announcements channel and the Action Alert channel
  • A PV Welcome Team member will reach out to you. If you need assistance, ask them to help!

• While our Discord server might seem large and bustling, remember that it's customizable to your needs
  • You can select the channels you're interested in and hide the ones you don't need. This is done through Discord's "Channels and Roles" section

Rules and Guidelines:

• We believe in a respectful and inclusive community. Before diving in, you'll need to agree to our rules and guidelines. These are displayed in the "Rules" channel under the "Get Started" section

Connecting with PV:

• Your voice matters to us! Our Discord provides several ways for you to reach out:
  • Direct Messages: All PV directors have their direct messages open to all PV members
  • ModMail Bot: Send a message to our ModMail bot, and it'll be viewed and answered by Directors or the Moderation Team
  • Ask the community: The channels in the Community Chat section are open for discussions. If there’s anything you want to say, don’t be shy about it and drop by for a chat!

• Feedback for PV and its operations
  • Forums: Use the Questions and Suggestions forum channels to ask questions or suggest changes where members can comment and discuss
  • Proposals: Want PV to organize around a specific goal? Use our Proposal system. We'll provide a link and templates to guide you

Get Involved:

Connecting with people near you in your state channel:

• Interact with members in your area

• Ask when your state holds its regular meetings, and join to learn more about organizing in your state/region

Join a skills team, work on projects, and support PV’s operations:

  • Responsible for creating engaging and impactful video content that supports PV's mission and initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure a unified message across all platforms

  • Aims to amplify our mission and initiatives, fostering a positive public image and nurturing relationships both within our community and externally with media, elected officials, and public figures
  • Inspire action, foster involvement, and boost awareness of PV’s efforts to unify left-leaning individuals for progressive change

  • Keep the community informed by writing and editing articles about PV as a whole
  • Aid the state teams in maintaining informational hubs about state and local politics
  • Support broader progressive activism through producing how-to guides, refining effective rhetoric for promoting progressive ideas, and compiling other educational resources.
